Wildforest Falls Grand Opening Goes with a Splash

Despite the rain which fell unrelentingly at the Grand Opening of Wildforest Falls, the exciting new adventure golf course was unveiled on Tuesday with an official ribbon cutting and short address by Councillor Jacky Pendleton, Chairman of Arun District Council and Phil Jones, Managing Director of Tivoli Group Limited.

Councillor Jacky Pendleton thanked Tivoli for their commitment to improve parks and outdoor recreational facilities within the District, in partnership with Arun District Council and confirmed that this was evidenced by facilities such as Wildforest Falls which provide a modern and exciting attraction for the public to enjoy.  Phil Jones went on to say that Tivoli has pledged to work together with Arun District Council identifying further opportunities for investment and concluded by thanking everybody who had contributed to make Wildforest Falls such a success.

The facility was teed off by some enthusiastic young golfers who braved the adverse weather conditions  to try out the vortex tree and the putt-through beaver dam and concluded that they had a great time on a fun but challenging course.

Local face painter Debbie Mott was also on hand to transform the faces of the children into foxes, rabbits and badgers.

The event was attended by representatives from Arun District Council, the Hotham Park HeritageTrust, Tivoli and HM Adventure Golf, together with some local families.  All in all a very successful morning.

Phil Jones, Managing Director, Tivoli said “Tivoli is investing heavily in key Arun parks and outdoor recreational facilities, supporting the regeneration of Arun’s seaside towns.  Wildforest Falls is a new and exciting facility in the beautiful Hotham Park and is a great development for the local community and visitors to the town.”
