Tivoli welcomes new employees

Tivoli Group Ltd has launched a new white paper, ‘Managing outdoor spaces: Lessons from Coronavirus’, which explores what is best practice for outdoor space management with changing COVID restrictions.

One effect of coronavirus restrictions has been a steady increase in public use of parks and open spaces. So, as restrictions continue to change, what’s the best way to manage outdoor spaces to support communities and ensure value for money?

To answer this question, Tivoli reflected on lessons since March 2020 and collated the experiences into a free white paper guide on managing outdoor spaces during COVID-19 and beyond.

The guide gives insight from local authorities and housing associations across the UK on:

  • Providing COVID-secure public spaces that support residents’ physical and mental health

  • Keeping up with waste management amidst increased litter and fly tipping

  • Protecting vulnerable communities and reducing the burden on local health and social care services

  • Ensuring operational efficiency and value for money during these high-pressure times

Darren Cunningham, Tivoli’s Chief Executive Officer said:

“The coronavirus pandemic has put a different focus on grounds maintenance and horticultural services, with extensive research showing a direct link between positive mental wellbeing and use of green spaces. It has been heart-warming to see how valued the services we deliver are, and how critical they are for our clients and the health and wellbeing of the communities we work in.

“The last 10 months have shown just how adaptable, responsive and flexible Tivoli is, and we’ve worked closely with all of our clients to ensure we quickly address and support their changing requirements and priorities. We wanted to share the lessons we’ve learnt, and the solutions and adjustments we’ve introduced in partnership with our clients.”
