Tivoli Group Ltd has achieved a President’s award following 10 consecutive Gold awards in the internationally renowned RoSPA Health and Safety Awards, the longest-running industry awards scheme in the UK. The prestigious accolade demonstrates Tivoli’s ongoing commitment to raising health and safety standards.
The RoSPA Awards scheme, which receives entries from organisations around the world, recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Darren Cunningham, Tivoli’s Chief Executive Officer, said:
“Health and safety is a key and central part of Tivoli’s culture, and we are committed to maintaining the highest of standards at all of our own sites, as well as our client sites that we work on across the UK. We use a variety of training and communication methods to achieve this, and we are very proud to have our systems, processes and practices recognised for a tenth consecutive year by a rigorous and highly respected awards scheme. It is testament to the hard work of our SHEQ team, and the commitment from all employees across the business.”
RoSPA President Award winners, like Tivoli, have achieved a very high level of performance for at least 10 consecutive years, demonstrating well-developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk, and very low levels of error, harm and loss.
Julia Small, RoSPA’s Head of qualifications, awards and events, said:
“RoSPA wants every employee, wherever they are, to work safe in the knowledge that they will be going home unharmed and healthy at the end of every day. The RoSPA Award winners are vital to help achieve this goal, as by entering they are driving up standards and setting new benchmarks for organisations everywhere. Currently, around 7million people are directly impacted by the RoSPA Awards, but the scheme’s influence is even wider.”
